Game Mechanics

Quests

Within this game phase we're are going to launch two different quests for the players to take part in.

The first quest will be about fighting dangerous monsters in a dungeon which will offer three initial crafting components that are going to be usable on the first level crafting recipe pool.

The second quest will be about unlocking your SOUL. The percentage at which SOUL will unlock will depend on RNG calculation, taking into account the player's equipped gear stats together with Key Card stats.

In this quest players can only participate when they are liquidity providers. That way we can subdue the risk of having malicious bots exploiting the system. In the further tower levels we'll make use of quest pool concept where burned SOUL will be distributed as rewards.

Key Card role in Questing:

Whenever players want to participate in the quest where crafting components are being distributed as rewards, they have to pay a small SOUL fee. In order to ensure natural SOUL sink.

Key Card owners can take the quest without paying fees.

Each quest takes time:

With each quest, players can participate within them multiple times per day. Currently we are planning a quest to take 4 hours - we'll make adjustments as project matures.

Crafting

Crafting components are going to be distributed on RNG basis when doing respective quest for it. In this game phase we're going to launch multiple different crafting components that will build up into new items.

Craftable items will have RNG attributes assigned to them. Player may be lucky and craft the highest roll item which enables them to claim the biggest rewards in the SOUL unlocking quest.

Basic items are going to be our first tier in the equipment rarity tree players can create. The crafting system is planned to be used in a way where first tier items are necessary to upgrade to second tier.

Gear is also going to play a huge role in climbing to further levels of the tower. Even though we are not going to release trials quest with initial game launch. It will come right after. Having the best gear is going to be vital for climbing.

Key Card role in crafting:

No SOUL fee with some of the recipes. Whenever players want to craft new items each item in the recipe pool has a specific SOUL price. Players with Key Cards in their inventory can be freed from paying with SOUL in the process

Cheaper SOUL fees. Some of the recipes still require SOUL during the crafting process. With Key Cards, players will be able to craft the same item with cheaper costs.

No blueprints with some of the recipes. Key card owners will be able to craft Basic items without having crafted the blueprint before that.
